Norwegian movement held meetings in multiple locations to share organizational experiences and campaign strategies
This Norwegian publication documents a significant grassroots movement during the Easter holiday period, capturing accounts of house meetings and group initiatives held across Norway in towns including Sundvollen, Hønefoss, Kongsvinger, Hamar, Lillehammer, Ulvik, Steinkjer, and Mosjøen. The text compiles shared experiences from participants who traveled from various regions to engage in this coordinated effort, aiming to preserve a comprehensive record of the movement's reach and impact. Between four and five hundred participants are estimated to have participated, representing a remarkable cross-section of Norwegian society. The movement transcended traditional social and political boundaries, bringing together individuals of all social classes, from wealthy to poor, alongside conservatives, radicals, socialists, and farmers' party members. Remarkably, lifelong Christians worked alongside those who had abandoned religious practice years prior. The participants encompassed every profession imaginable—farmers, doctors, craftspeople, journalists, priests, artists, fishermen, engineers, office workers, and laborers—demonstrating that this Christian revolutionary movement in Norway was genuinely a grassroots phenomenon spanning both geographic and social dimensions. The publication serves as both historical record and testament to the movement's broad democratic and inclusive character.
