A German theologian writes on the importance of books and publishing

"We need books which address the broad range of very different presuppositions of understanding in today's secular world. We need other books which will lead a person into the depth of God's plan of salvation. In this way, books are an eminently valuable tool of missions today. They help to spread the message to the multitudes of people.
"A book reaches people to whom I cannot go. It can speak for me when I lack the respective language. Just as Moses had Aaron appointed as his spokesman because he felt he could not speak for himself, so many of us can use a book that will speak for us in situations when we perhaps are not skilled to speak"
