The Moral Re-Armament World Mission travelled 35,000 miles through the capitals and chief cities of 26 countries of Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. ln eleven of these countries they were the guests of the Government. The Mission was received by Prime Ministers and heads of State, and there was a tremendous response both from the masses and the statesmen to the musical play, The Vanishing Island, which accompanied the Mission.
Among the leaders who personally received the world Mission and with whom the author spoke on the journey, were Prime Minister Hatoyama of Japan, President Magsaysay of the Philippines, Prime Minister Diem of Vietnam, President Ba U of Burma, the Prime Ministers of Ceylon and Pakistan, the Shah and Queen of Iran, and leaders of Malaya, India, Africa and Middle East countries.
