Discovering Frank Buchman

A journey into the thinking of Frank Buchman

What was he like?

Jim Baynard-Smith and Sally Baynard-Smith (in the photo) worked closely with Frank Buchman over many years. For a 5-year period, 1952-56, on five continents, Jim served as one of several young aides or personal assistants who were asked to help him, in his physical disability following a stroke when his right side had been severely limited. "So there were tasks like writing letters, driving the car, packing a suitcase, etc. that required help especially when travelling – and always errands to run. A kind of apprenticeship, you might say, and a steep learning curve."

Jim and Sally share some lively anecdotes and experiences here.
