Elisabeth Peters has over 50 years experience of working with Moral Re-Armament/Initiatives of Change mainly in Sweden, New Zealand and UK. Upon finishing school she went directly into voluntary work with MRA in London. Later she spent some years in New Zealand, principally working with the Maori people. She also worked in the far north of Sweden with the indigenous Sami people. After marrying in 1981, she spent 30 year with her husband Edward in England, mainly in Oxford. She managed some of IofC UK's training programmes for young people, and was a member of IofC UK's Pastoral Care Team - as well as in her local church in Oxford. She trained as a Mentor. In 2011, she and her husband moved to Sweden, where they live on the west coast. Elisabeth has two children and three grandchildren.
