La historia de los africanos en el momento de la descolonización.
La película cuenta la historia de hombres africanos que luchan por la tierra y luchan unos contra otros. Progresivamente a lo largo de la película, el "Rey de la tierra", un hombre blanco (Sr. Roland) que representa la colonización, y diferentes personas locales descubren la forma de luchar juntos y unirse para rehacer el mundo.
